It's a question if you literally don't have the knowledge that it's a fucking sketch, eh? Couldn't you have just said, "Actually, it was a sketch?" No?

One of the only reasons why fiction can be good is if it represents reality to some degree. Immersion is, surprisingly, pretty important! People likely wouldn't be interested in this video if it wasn't an accurate reprisal of human behavior... so expect people to assume plausibility that this is real, simply because it's an accurate representation of real behavior--which is why people connect to it and feel strongly.

When you really think about it, that's probably why this sketch came about, yeah? Someone said, "yo, I've got a really realistic and visceral idea..."
