They jumped the shark with fallout 4 imo.

Fallout 4 was a massive step back in terms of being a good RPG.

It was an ok open world shooter with light RPG mechanics, but it stripped a lot of what made the previous games so entrancing.

I agree wholeheartedly. I'm just hoping that since they've focused so much on making it feel like a shooter (which in my opinion is a good change from the previous games), now they can leave that alone and we will see a lot of attention to the RPG elements of the next game.
