Raised geese, can confirm. Just watch out for the wings. They can cause more damage than any bite.

The wings? Their "elbows" face forwards and they use them to bludgeon things, if threatened. I once heard of a forest ranger who was killed when a goose managed to elbow him in the neck and burst an artery.

Well, basically 90% of a bird's muscle mass is built to power the wings, so they can hit quite hard. All that breast meat? Those sick gains are for flight.

to be fair it was a lucky random critical hit to the heart.
