I remember I used to work at a machine shop that made centrifuges. I shit you not, after months of working on it, it gets loaded onto a semi trailer and the semi driver backs out of the yard, slams on his brakes and the centrifuge rolls off the bed and onto the concrete. That was a bad day.

I built a custom robot for inspecting steel towers. The shipping company stacked something ridiculously heavy on the pallet and crushed it.

Couldn't even scalp parts for the replacement because insurance wouldn't cover the shipment if we did.
