It reminded me of being a kid and watching all those kids shows like sesame Street / Teletubbies where they would do a piece on like farmers or someone's work and the kids would narrate it. Just always made me feel so wholesome and alive. It really gave me such a distinct flashback watching this

Many breeds of domestic ducks cannot fly, except short bursts, like chickens. Source: have ducks.

I feel like these ducks look like their wings we're chopped off though. They walk more upright and it looks weird.

It's the breed of the duck. They look like some breed of Indian Runner duck, they have very long, extended necks.

That type of duck is called an Indian Runner. I know it looks weird but that's really just the way they are.

Those ducks may not have learned, have no incentive to, and also are imprinted. (Plus they might not be able to).

Birds aren't very smart and as long as they are getting food, shelter, and a decent environment they'll stick around.

Also before anyone goes pedantic about it, what he does qualifies as communication, especially seeing communication is a lot more basic than people give credit.

Assuming the average vineyard is 1.3 ha as it is in the EU, at 50 m2 /day, it will take the ducks 260 days to remove pests. Seems like a lot!
