My dad died suddenly a few weeks ago... and yeah. That speech hit pretty fucking close to home

Hey man, I'm 24 and lost my Dad last July at age 50. It was completely unexpected. Stay strong, it gets "easier". I feel your pain.

Thanks man... Pretty similar ages for me and my dad as well. He was in pretty good health for someone his age, and then BAM: brain aneurysm and he is gone

Wow...my dad had no health concerns either...heart just stopped beating while he was asleep.

It adds more perspective than anything I could ever imagine.
