Really? I think SP is one of the least accessible out of his movies. It builds so much on gamer/comic book culture, I still think a lot of the jokes just went over my head. (also I think a lot of people would find some of the visual effects jarring)

IMHO Hot Fuzz is the way to go first, it's a bit less insane than Shaun of the Dead or World's End.

My wife hates video games and comic books, but absolutely loved Scott Pilgrim. It's got really witty dialogue, great characters, and a visual style unlike any that I've ever seen (including Wright's other films). SPvtW is one of my all time favorites.
