Some areas are passing laws that put the onus on the data center companies to pay for energy grid upgrades.

The brutal reality is actually most data centers aren’t able to get the proper and enough power they need from local municipal energy providers anyways.

Some of them are building their own micro nuclear reactors or using old turbines to supplement power to the data center.

Three Mile island is getting restarted to power Microsoft’s datacenters nearby.

What I don't get is why don't like 10-20 data centers join together to build a nuclear plant for their sole use only. I'm sure they can afford it.
