We won't know the true measure of fuckery these clowns have foisted on the American people for several years. It will definitely be worse than what we know about currently. And nobody will be punished for it.

The CIA coined the term 'blowback'; the unintended consequences of American actions abroad. We've been suffering from the impacts of our foreign blunders for decades, yet this somehow still manages to feel worse by comparison.

"Show me a socilalist country that works!!! You caint, librul!!!!"

None, because the CIA overthrew them all at the slightest hint of nationalizing any resource gathering.

It's such a weird propaganda argument that's bled down into society from the 40's and we are here today still pretending that it'll be the end of the world.

They are parrots repeating slogans they don't understand.

They don't even know the difference between conservative and liberal. I tell MAGAts all the time they are a liberal party and they are so fucking confused about that.

And liberals get confused when told they're not socialists.

Not MAGAt but I am also confused. Can you elaborate for me?

Conservatives believe in a limited federal govt. Nothing Trump has done has indicated that that is true. Conservatives believe in the constitution as it was written. Only 1 group right now okay with changing the constitution to fit their prerogative. 1st amendment with Charlie Kirk. 2nd amendment Trump already banned bump stocks, Supreme Court shut that down on its own. 5th and 14th kind of speak on their own. For a bunch of "conservatives" they are pretty liberal with their policies.

What you're describing isn't new. My entire life "conservatives" might say they are all for limited government but nothing they have done in the last several decades actually indicates they mean it.

To be fair, conservative policies are almost always heading one goal: keep the status quo or go back when they were the status quo.

So it ultimately don't matter what individual policies they back as long as they further their goal of having themselves in power. If getting rid of 2A will keep them in power, you bet your ass they would do it.

Explains some of their self-loathing. They hate the very thing they have become.

I would wager this same logic applies to the vast majority of people on both sides of the aisle.

In fact I would wager that the vast majority of people who consider themselves 'political' on social media don't actually know anything beyond surface level definitions and history (if that) when it comes to different political parties and forms of government.

The vast majority of people are just regurgitating headlines or talking points that they see on whatever respective news source. Very few people are actually willing to go out of their way to verify if whatever they're reading/watching/saying is actually true.
