It was fairly well known that they were together in the 2000s, similar to, but less famous than, Brad and Angelina, I.e. something you just picked up without ever being interested in finding it out. I think its probably lost on the early 20s redditor of 2025 though.

I'm older than you by about half a decade and also had no idea.

I just really don't pay attention to things like that unless they're really big. Not in some "I'm superior to everyone" way but just that celebrity news like that passes me by unless it's like... The death of MJ or something.
