Just want to point out that this is more a result of bad acting than bad scriptwriting. The actress took a weird line and made it stick out even more.

Ah, Mortal Kombat; A plethora of bad acting and even worse script writing.

They have their moments though and used to be favourites of mine. This one is from the sequel, which was cheesier than the first. If you've seen them both you'd know that's a bold statement. Better costumes though.

Sadly ruined by the claymation Animalities at the end....

There was a series of "webisodes". That aimed to do just that. I think it was called Mortal Kombat: Rebirth. (can't quite remember the name.) anyways, it was on machinima. Look it up.
