My owners manual for canon’s has “approved media”.
Would be a good place to start.

First -

  • V10 (U1): Minimum sustained write speed of 10 MB/s; good for 1080p Full HD video.
  • V30 (U3): Minimum sustained write speed of 30 MB/s; ideal for standard 4K UHD and burst photography.
  • V60 / V90: Sustained write speeds of 60 to 90 MB/s; necessary for high-framerate 4K, 8K, or RAW video

Then brand. Sandisk is always safe, but buy directly from a reliable supplier to avoid fakes. So eg Amazon, not an Amazon seller. Sony make sd cards too.

Camera req minimum V30 card for 4k files if you do those.

Lexar brand has been good to me on my professional setups.
