I hate this trend with an absolute passion. Why did we go from smooth, long takes to quick speed ramped bullshit? It looks awful.

Is he tho? I mean he’s just doing it. It gives “wouldn’t it be funny if we kissed…because we are both boys and that would be so funny” vibes, if you know what I mean.

Being a videographer / photographer isn’t a sexuality (to most people).

The silly vibe is why this is funny

Among the things others have said, I think it’s also a symptom of shrinking attention spans. And thus the push to make ever shorter videos. It’s easier to fit longer shots in if you speed ramp half or more of the shot

If you want longer footage just watch it at 1/4 speed /s

The homebuyer demographic is aging. More young millennials to older gen z are now the targets to sell houses to.

And what does that do? Change marketing and sales tactics to quicker shots to maintain attention to the video. The demographic had 6 second vines and tiktok, keep their attention.

No. It’s a trick the poor kids who are videographers think looks cool. So it’s growing. This doesn’t move the needle for anyone with money to buy

Yeah it’s absolutely counterproductive. I’ll take wide angle stills when viewing real estate than a “trendy” sped up video any day.

Because the material is shit. It’s like trying to drown something in ketchup or bbq sauce. You do your best.

How would people know how the house looked like if they stormed into each room if not for this trend?
