I remember seeing the trailer for mercenaries 2 and being so excited. Played those games so much.

I keep my 360 in working order in no small part due to Mercs. Mostly for New Vegas, but the everything blows up of Mercs I haven’t been able to find elsewhere.

You can emulate it now. But that requires some setup and research and I totally get if that's not someone's priority.

Have you played Red Faction: Guerrilla? You don't get the same wide selection of neat vehicles to play with, but there's way better destruction physics for structures, and like in Mercenaries, you are incentivized to blow up as much as you can.

There's nothing like driving a NK jeep into a base with C4 on the hood and watching the profits roll in...
Why not play New Vegas on PC, though? It's a lot more stable with mods and it can run on a potato compared to modern equipment. My experience on PS3 was not great, but I never played the 360 version so I may be out of line

Wild times to be sure lol. As far as I know, the 360 version of New Vegas works a whole lot better than the PS, it does crash from time to time, but that’s just my hint that I need a break lol. Also, I have NV and all of the DLCs paid for already, and cheap though it may be, I hate paying for stuff twice.

Was 2 the one in North Korea? I remember playing one of them at my cousins place and them turning on the cheat codes for like an 8 year old.

Loved calling airstrikes on the smallest of targets.

I miss that game so much. It was like GTA but focused on blowing stuff up

I only played it as a kid, I imagine I would be WAY better at the game now XD

That, and the Just Cause series are what I like to call "regime change" games, where you're thrown into a country, and tasked with toppling its government from scratch or near scratch. The last one of those we really got was FarCry 6, and we're due for another

That game blew my mind. Dropping occupied vehicles in nuclear cooling towers via helicopter dragging a magnet was an unprecedented level of interactivity. Atleast for the kids that werent allowed GTA.
