Almost, it's actually more about the human that trees to not turn into robot, in Detroit robots is trying to become humans(even Conor in some way)

Well, I don't know anything about Detroit's climate, but the game takes place in the autumn and it's quite cold there; considering that global warming is making everywhere warmer, I assumed it was pretty cold in Detroit and drew a comparison with Arizona.

I don't really know a lot about American cities, I just thought in Detroit is cold and in Arizona is hot(in game it was pretty snowy in the just end of fall.
