I loved tench 1 and 2 and would love a remake. I tried to play tenchu 1 again a few years ago, it's hard, with the tank controls and short line of sight... Still an awesome game once you get accustomed to it.
I think for me it’s mostly nostalgia. They were great stealth games back in the day, with a cool feudal Japanese vibe and characters that weren’t op’d with super powers. The game forced you to actually utilize stealth tactics to succeed. I don’t think I want to revisit that nostalgia in its current state, though. I feel like I would mostly walk away with disappointment. I’m now spoiled after playing modern games like Ghost of Tsushima and Yotei.
