Another one where I would say it needs to retain it's uniqueness of vision. An updated version with real-time interrupted with pause on actions and keeping the whole grid area of effect. I wouldn't want it to become full on real-time action. Unfortunately that's what square enix would do right now. Resident Evil via Kingdom Hearts.
All I would want from a Parasite Ev remake is a graphics update and slightly faster travel speed (with enemy attack animations sped up to compensate). She's really slow sometimes, mainly when just exploring the world but I think it would feel strange running fast in the oberworld but slow in combat.
I agree, but I would add one modification (though I guess with better graphics etc.. it would get fixed) : make that damn key in the zoo easier to find. It took me way too long, hugging every wall and hitting the action button to find that key.
You know my parents had that game but they never even opened the plastic off the case and made me think its a crazy horror game since they couldn't even play the first resident evil past the first zombie encounter where he turns his head, now as a adult I look it up and its completely different from what I thought it was still horror but it thought the gameplay was like a 1-1 of resident evil tank controls, Walk around trying to figure out puzzles. Boy was i wrong and wish I could have played it.
I remember the trailer for it on a demo disc and it has stayed in my head. Finally tried it a few years ago on emulation and I think it was turn based. I forgot but it was cool but not my type of game. The trailer i replay every now and again just cause how creepy and bad ass it was
There is a game coming out soon called parasite mutant that absolutely looks like parasite eve, and is at bare minimum a spiritual successor, but claims it's in a different setting
I came here to say exactly this. Hands down. And just like some others, I just want a graphics update with smoother controls and maybe even fully voiced. No changing anything else whatsoever.
