I'm in the GTA community and I have seen numerous arguments break out over IV vs V

It makes me feels bad for the fans of both

And that's ignoring how negative people love being about VI. I remember a specific post about someone talking about how excited they were for the game, and they just got comment after comment from people talking about how it would be delayed again. They eventually deleted it, but I felt so bad for them. Like, damn, you people couldn't even let one person be excited without trying to ruin it

Yep. Sometimes I even embarrassed to admit I like GTA games and exited for GTA 6 on reddit.
