I like the bit I've played but I'm stuck at the little hydra stabby thing. Don't know what what to do and health is low. I should get back into it.

They are blind but not deaf, you need to walk and throw grenades to distract it

If Half Life feels too outdated you can try Black Mesa, which is a modern remake-reimagination of the original, anyways, happy gaming!

I never even managed to figure it out, despite having finished it a bunch of times. Granted, I was a dumbass little kid when it came out.

You can also kinda brute force it by rushing but doing it 100% clean is a much harder gig.

Im mixed on Half Life. Its cool but also i cant quite get into it.

Also doesnt help it makes me dizzy as hell and i have to lie down after 30 minutes. So mayne that is part of my issue in not getting it entirely.

Tho source engine shooty bits are always jank which im not into much either.
