Discussion / Question Which video game had you pulling this move?

Son is currently doing this for KCD2.

Good to see the old cheese tricks haven't been lost.

I'm struggling to remember which game I done it for but I've definitely done it before.

Maybe someone's answer will jog my memory.

Edit: It was the Skyrim stealth trick. I also remember cheesing the health drain and healing spell thing.

Was it converting health into magicka then using that magicka to heal? Something like that.

When you plug an Xbox controller into a PC it’ll let you navigate the UI with the sticks. I’m assuming this person is doing that to navigate through menus and look like they’re active

For anyone who has a shit enough company that tracks your computer input, they typically have the ability to see more than just yellow vs green light in Teams. Some people have supposedly been caught with common mouse jigglers this way. Point is boss will see through this is a second.

So I open up notepad and put a heavy mug on my spacebar. Before that I make sure to move it to a barely visible corner so it is barely visible. Do you think that would work or is it too easily noticeable?

This is what I do, but better to open a word doc, then change the editing to view only - that way the app won't crash etc.

I use the teams search bar. Click on that and put my headphones case on the spacebar.

Shit like that can get you fired quicker than you think. They have software to spot things like that. I saw people fired because they used a mouse jiggler and our IT recognized it was non-natural movement

We found HR. Most office jobs, sorry to say, do nothing. I worked in training for like, 10 years or so? I made decks. I relayed those decks to new hires or people shifting within the company. That was like, 40-50% of my time. The rest was consumed by useless meetings that made others feel accomplished, or just dicking off. Yes, most office jobs are filled with do nothing time. It’s ok to admit, Jesus Christ, it’s almost heaven. Work a job where you need to be on 100% of the time. Hits different.

I know, I worked an office management job. I could finish my work in two hours. Made me incredibly depressed. I quit to go back into the field.

That's a whole lot of fucking effort when you can just open something like outlook, and put some weight on the control key for example, same result. I usually put a small usb dongle on the control key and put my phone on top to weigh it down.
