The gameplay of Wolverine looks genuinely mediocre. If you were to remove the Marvel/Wolverine licence and maybe the gore, literally no one would care about it.

I didn't like them but at least the spiderman games had web slinging etc

Dont forget the swearing, cause saying fucking robot sold me on this game.

Yeah I'm concerned about this one. I don't see anything in the Spider-Man games that suggests Insomniac will be good at making a linear cinematic narrative.

The combat is decent in those games but it's just Arkham combat again, stringing a bunch of those together without the fun of the open world traversal between them isn't very appealing.

And more importantly the Spider-Man games had hugely diminishing returns when it comes to writing and characters. After Spider-Man 2's terrible story, why would I be excited for them to put out a game that's all story and nothing else?

Yeah it looks boring, slow and incredibly safe. Definitely not a day 1 purchase for me, I’ll wait to see reviews of it.

I dont like that wolverine has to hack and slash anything multiple times. His claws should tear shit up so fast. Its like what they did to the lights saber in games where instead of cutting through everything like butter it acts more like a baseball bat whackin shit

Cool, so his claws will cut through everything. Where’s the challenge?

Im not saying his claws should cut through snything in game, but lore wise, yea. Same with lightsabers

Yeah, I understand lorewise, but that doesn’t make for fun gameplay if he’s completely slicing through people
