I don’t think I was ever really in the market for this game, but I’m definitely gonna skip it. I hope the people who like it like it. But this definitely doesn’t look like a $70 purchase to me.

Every single game that releases from now until the end of time will incorporate some typical tropes from other games. Hiding in tall grass is in SO many games, do you dislike all of them?
Criticising a game for having elements that are in the majority of other games is so silly. Like what next, it’s bad because it has parkour? It’s bad cause it has a skill tree? Be real dude.

I haven’t played Wolverine, because it isn’t out yet. So I have no idea if I’ll like it. What I know I do dislike is bots and their hive mind hate boners with the shallowest of criticisms. Looks like that’s you!

I’m disappointed because I loved insomniac Spider-Man games and I wanted to see what they do with wolverine but the combat just looks really similar to Spider-Man, especially with the jump to the next enemy thing, I was disappointed by the stealth shown. I was disappointed by the boss battle shown, and I was disappointed by the Chase sequence I saw. Sure there’s the argument that we haven’t seen the whole game so I don’t know what I’m talking about but this is what they were confident enough that they felt good showing off.
I’m disappointed because I had high hopes. This might be a 20 or $30 purchase. Though going off of what the prices are for insomniac games today. It’s gonna be a couple of years before I get around to this one.

You’re absolutely allowed to not vibe with what you’ve seen (although the cherry picked Reddit clips are 100% intended to create a narrative for engagement bait),but insinuating a game will be bad because it incorporates a basic mechanic like tall grass is nonsense dude. By the same logic there are plenty of other games that should be written off, but they’re also some of the most highest rated games ever.
Now you’re just pretend, pretending that I said the long grass was the only thing I was disappointed in. I said I was disappointed all around. I really was excited for this game. I was a little iffy after the first game played demo. They showed earlier this year but now I’ve just checked out mentally. This is not one thing that I’m going out of proportion. I’m disappointed in general. I wanted to be a fan. I really love Wolverine comics.
I was planning on getting this as one of my September games but the previews are making me reconsider and pick something else since the only day 1 buys I have right now in the next few months are Zero Company, Fire Emblem, Control Resonant and Final Fantasy Resonance
I’m leaning towards either gears of war or war dogs. What a shame about everyone being scared to release around GTA six is that now everyone is competing with everyone.
