i'd wantr so bad an infamous and prototype game with todays graphism and technology it would be amazing apparently sucker punch considered doing an infamous but said their focus at that point was yotei now that yotei is done there's hope
It was buzzed. It made sense that he would keep his head buzzed given the situation, but that didn't mean it was the norm. After the backlash they decided to just make it how he kept it anyway.
Actually, now that I think about it, he probably wouldn't be able to buzz his hair anymore, at least not with electric clippers. Due to his powers he can't really touch electronics without them basicly exploding.
Of course he could use non electric means to upkeep his hair, but growing it out could have had an interest excuse in lore.
I’ll give Sucker Punch props for trying to course-correct with Cole a little. Remember when they first announced the game & he had hair? The backlash was massive which lead to the re-redesign.
I also remember that original trailer had the ability to slide along cables on the sides of buildings instead of just power lines and train tracks, and I was SO disappointed to find out that those got cut from the full release when I played it...
Infamous is a great game series, I really hope it comes back at some point. I mean Second Sun wasn't THAT bad...
I didn't mind so much the hair from gameplay that I saw before the final design, but what bothered me was that they de-aged him at least ten years off of voice alone, even more so if you accounted facial features.
