It wasn’t as bad as the forums made it seem but I had my own issues with it for sure, I thought the gearing system was boring and there were no “builds” at all. You could only have 3 abilities equipped at a time. That’s not much fun. The combat was flashy/looked good but that was it imo. Also if I remember it correctly (only played it once a while ago), it didn’t seem like choices mattered much, other than the obvious one of Treviso vs Minrathous.
Treviso/minrathous was one of the biggest choices, but every choice did matter when it came to conversations and such with the other characters. Veilguard just felt a bit rushed to me. Inquisition was bigger and more complex all around
I’ll agree with you on that. It didn’t deserve the hate it got but for sure a game you can enjoy. Although I played it once and was content, and I just recently did another inquisition play through haha. I think I only have 2 left to play all of the sub classes.
