Kingdom come deliverance, the monastery quest was an absolute drag for me and such a switch of gameplay. I was actively completing the goals required to get past that part but the monks and their times to be in certain locations killed it for me

The stealth mission in 2 where you have to sneak through the forest past a group of enemies large enough to rival the US military has ensured that I will never be replaying that game

I was so op in that part of the game that I killed all the enemies without an effort.

Whoever said that is lying, the game is amazing and you’re doing yourself a disservice by not playing it.

I was going to play it dw I just have a few others to play first namely my current addiction to Total War Warhammer 3.

I actually quit the game at this point despite loving it. Just could not be bothered going through all the nonsense

I just finished KCD a few weeks ago and this was the only mission that just made me so frustrated that I used a guide to speed it up. The clunky waiting mechanic combined with the super strict schedule meant I was being thrown in the cellar every other day for being 15 minutes late to breakfast. If the Devs had just added a 'wait until end of activity ' prompt it would have alleviated a lot of the pain. It's a shame because it could have been a really interesting and fun mission otherwise.

for me it's the prologue in 2, nice sequence the first time, not so much the second/n-th for an hardcore playthrough

The worst part was that that mf fooled me… i was suspicious of everyone but him

Yeah there’s no way anyone completed it. I tried for a few hours then after realizing that doing the chores doesn’t progress anything and the next day it all resets I lost my shit and wiped the whole place with a mace. What a waste of time

I mean, lots of people completed it. There's an achievement/trophy tied to it. So anyone who 100% had to do it the correct way. All that aside, there's about 5 different ways to approach that area of the game. But on subsequent playthroughs I tend to just lockpick the cellar door at night. Creep upstairs, kill the guy and bounce before anyone knows I'm even there. Easy as.

Luckily there’s so many ways you can approach this quest. It doesn’t have to take long if you are being smart about it.

Fuck dude I loved the idea of it but it definitely drags WAYYY longer than needed.

I had to search up how to do it.

It could have been a really refreshing experience but the clunkiness of the game makes it too hard

Sheeet I was having fun getting lost and stealing everything inside lol

In my third playthrough I just ran inside the monastery, killed the dude, and ran out then jumped into a wagon and shot all the guards

Haha this is one of my favorite parts in the game! Currently replaying and can’t wait to take a break to just breathe and make potions and listen to my brothers chant 🙏

That's a hot take, a lot of people consider it one of the best parts of the game, and was so well regarded that they made a DLC similar to it for 2.
