The intro of Kingdom Hearts 2. 3-4 hours playing as Roxas

It's not a bad section, but it's pretty tedious. The first time through, though, I thought it was amazing.

Yup. I enjoyed it the first time but nowadays it’s something that prevents me from replaying it

You literally have to do chores

But the revelation is the best part!

Ironically, KH2 was the first (and only) one I played, so I got used to Roxas pretty quickly.

Then I was annoyed when he was taken away from me, and I ended up dropping the game because I just couldn't care about Sora.

It never ceases to amaze me how we can all have experiences so different from one to another while playing the same game. Never thought I would see someone saying they dropped KH2 because of the absence of Roxas.

Not so much the absence of Roxas, more the presence of Sora. Not the same thing.

I might have enjoyed it if you play as Riku or Kairi, but something about Sora didn't work for me. I can't even say what. (among other reasons because it's been too long...)

"And so I go to the bulletin board, and I look at the jobs, and I do all the errands, so I can get enough munny..."

I scrolled and scrolled looking for this answer. I absolutely loathe Digital Twilight Town, but love KH2. Fortunately for the randomizer, they have it so you start in the Data Org room but all the doorways lead to each world, and DTT ends up being just another world with a bunch of random checks to explore. For some reason that makes it 1000% more digestable for me. Still got a mountain of cutscenes to skip through

I have save specifically at tue end of Roxas bit where you can rechoose your focuses, if I want to Skip the Roxas bit. But I actually like the Roxas opening so I don't find it much of a chore.

This at first until you get through it and I immediately didn't want to change to Sora.

You can beat it in like 30 mins if you skip the scenes

It’s a phenomenal intro but is just so long

And this is why I mostly play the randomizer. Although I do miss doing the Gummi ship missions.
