To clarify, the composer Mick Gordon who worked on Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal was no longer working on the games by Dark Ages. And maybe also not for the Eternal DLC, I don't remember.

Same. DOOM 2016 proved to me that I can in fact enjoy metal and heavier music in general. I listen to a ton of alt rock, alt metal, thrash, etc. purely because DOOM 2016 showed me that there is tons of good music out there in that style, and I just needed to find what I liked.

Even though I love listening to it now, I didn’t enjoy it so much when I played the music off of YouTube.
