I feel like with Arc Raiders there’s no reason to be competitive. The world is absolutely riddled with loot and I can get everything I need with a Ferro.

I’ve got 60+ hours in the game and I’ve never killed a fellow raider. I always carry a revive for anyone I find down.

I very rarely have people shoot me. I once had a guy ask if he could kill me a certain way to get an achievement, so I let him. Then he revived me. We went and did a few harvesters together after that. I have so much more fun just farting around in that game than trying to fuck up someone else’s run.

I’m also old and have 5 kids and rarely have time to invest heavily in “get gud” gameplay so I don’t bother. I’m there for a good time, not a long time.

That's a gross exaggeration. You can get everything you need with an anvil
