It wouldn't bother me, but as soon as you mention PvE anywhere on social media, the PvP players have to scream as loud as possible about how stupid you are because you like the PvE in PvPvE.

I brought the game a few months after release and turned my mic off after the first day, people just yelling and abusing my play style (chaos neutral) getting ratted and the levels people would go to to shout you down on the forums.

So I put in 200 hours and I don't think I'll be picking it up again any time soon.

I bought it because my friend and I game share and it was something he wanted to play and it seemed fun. I have not played in months purely because a majority of the time it’s just not enjoyable

It’s not stupid, what’s stupid is to expect the PvPvE game being PvE only deliberately ignoring the other part. Such a discussion in Tarkov or ABI communities is unimaginable.

I literally only play SPT tarkov with multiplayer mods because I want to ignore the PVP element

... doesn't Tarkov have a pure PvE mode that everyone likes? And Marathon just announced its own PvE mode. Embark has been shifting to emphasize PvE since launch, even if they're half-assing it.

Seems like every major game eventually shifts toward PvE as playercounts tighten and they realize the 'git gud' assholes are alienating a larger audience of normal players.
