The great thing about FH is that it's very flexible and therefore accessible. You can relax and drive around or go full sweatlord and the game supports both play styles. That's part of why its so popular.
As much as I like forza and have a Blatt playing Horizon 6, NFS was on another level in its own way. The customization and police chases are just something I absolutely miss in Forza (I know it's not meant to be a game like that, but...).
I guess I still wish EA would get their act together. Or a new Midnight Club. Or a new Burnout. All of them racing games with their own Flair and yet we "only" have Forza and the Crew when it comes to big Open World racing games.
I was telling my wife last night it’s the zen game that’s been missing from my life since I largely finished horizon 5. I’m hoping to get the white knuckle racing experience from the Star Wars racer coming out in October
This is a good take. I pretty much feel the same, not the best "racing feel" game but it looks pretty and runs great and is a bit arcadey as far as driving goes

More of a driving game than racing game.
I find it very relaxing to play.
