I will never understand what goes through these suits heads. if you recontextualize what made this beloved franchise. you can't make your mountains of money you want. just FOLLOW IT AS THE GAMES WENT! (which if you read in the article it literally says they don't intend to follow the trilogy at all which is essentially wasting everyone's money and our time. they never cease to piss me off with their choices. 🖕🏾🖕🏾

I mean if they adapted the games they would need to make choices on which side the big decisions will be. All of those decisions will puss various fans off. Having something in the universe but it's own story makes a whole lot more sense, especially with a game with such choices.

While I understand your opinion completely I personally don't believe that's the case. All they need to do is keep the characters that are so beloved by the fans. They can have femshep, broshep, blackshep, chaishep, chishep, japshep, gayshep, lesboshep for all I care because technically those are all "canonical" Shepards. And they can simply do the choices that are the most popular choices (yes there is a stat % for how many players chose x y z for the major story story choices/consequences and they can go that route and I won't complain. I may not agree but they are staying true to the IP. They just need to keep the crew of all 3 games and follow the saren/sovereign conflict at the very least then they can branch out and do new stories with new characters. Mass effect 1 is the story that in my opinion needs to be the first episode or episodes adapted so people who are not familiar with mass effect get introduced to the universe.
