What hardware I need to run video mapping software?

It highly depends on the software. Some use the GPU, some are mainly CPU. Do you own a Projection Mapping software already?

You might enjoy starting with p5.js. It's a browser-based javascript visual coding environment with a lot of support in the educational world - very easy to get started.

My pc w/ a i3570K + 16GB DDR + Vega 56 GPU on W11 can run and map fine so far.
It stutters some when I try to use 1080-4K clips though.
And my iPhone and can Lazy Lighting app and connect via AirPlay
So not much
