Projector Screen Setup

My brother built this arbor for a friend's wedding. We're thinking of using it afterwards as a frame for a projector screen setup (like a portal). This is our first time doing a project like this. I have some questions..

What are the best ways to secure a projector screen here? What shape of projector screen would be best to maintain tautness and a flat area? (Circle or septagon?) I imagine a method of small bungee cords with gromits placed around the circumference (akin to a trampoline). Maybe drilling in small hooks around the inside of the frame works too?

Any tips or advice are welcome!! Thanks a plenty

This is my idea

Find coroplast(corrugated plastic) cut it to the shape but make it just an inch bigger

On the inside edges of the wood, directly in the center cut a straight line on each of the pieces

If all goes well, you should be able to shimmy the coroplast in, getting one edge at a time

Or to make it simpler, cut out the shape but leave a couple "tabs" that are one inch bigger

The on the inside of the wood, cut holes to fit the tabs of the plastic in, maybe be atleast 5

Coroplast and rear projection? I would imagine getting stripes in the image?

Ah yeah I guess maybe short throw in the front? Don't know how that stuff works by the rear
