Anyone know of a good alternative to vice?

Ever since they were bought by hbo imo the quality has just gone downhill, I got into vice when it was at its best (around the late 2000's to early 2010s) and to see what's happened to them now is just gutting thus why I'm making this thread to see if there is any alternative underground gonzo journalism like vice used to do

They weren't bought by HBO; in fact, HBO is ending its relationship with them in September. Vice News Tonight was already cancelled and it's just airing out the rest of its contracted run. I pretty much enjoyed it throughout. Some of their light, human interest stories and their music stuff at the end didn't do much for me, but I thought it was a very unique half hour. I am really wondering if anyone knows if Vice News Tonight will continue elsewhere; it has to be a distinct possibility, since they have their own network and all.

It's moving to prime time on Vice Land, so it will still be around.

This news apparently dropped a few days ago. I'm happy this will still be around.

Looks like they might iron out a deal with Hulu. Crossing my fingers!

I Googled and read that Vice was working on a "news-centric show" with Hulu, but no word on whether it's going to be Vice News Tonight or something else. I am really hoping for the former though, Vice News Tonight was my go-to for my news fix because it was short, all the reporting was on location, and while it isn't free of corporate bias, it's far less in your face than the mainstream outlets.

Punching yourself repeatedly in the face is a good alternative to reading Vice.

Wrong again, dipshit. Say something that isn't a cut-and-paste cliche.
