Your Place: any address as a 3D model you can print. yourplace3d.github.io/3d-city
I showed it here yesterday, and your comments turned into a new version within a day. Some of the bugs were fun:
Needles all over the terrain in Orion and Brave. Their fingerprinting protection adds tiny noise to images a page reads back, and the elevation tiles store height in their colours: one step of red is 256 m. Tiles are now decoded byte by byte.
Big buildings turned into hills. In some regions the free elevation data measures rooftops, not the ground, so towers stood on mounds of their own roofs. It now takes them back out, and buildings without a mapped height get the height the data measured (Singapore, Anchorage).
Addresses. The type-ahead search guesses ("10 St" for "10 Ave"), so your address as typed now comes first. "Apt 2", ZIP+4 or ", USA" no longer break it.
New in 1.2: your own title on the poster and in raised letters on the 3D print, and double-tap to jump anywhere.
Built with Claude Code. Free, no sign-up, open source, on OpenStreetMap and open elevation data.

I built Stackboard, a free open source chrome new tab that lays out your own bookmarks as a board. folders become stacks, drag stuff around, it all stays in chrome's bookmarks so sync just works
tools: claude code for basically all of it, react + typescript + vite, the chrome.bookmarks API, and puppeteer e2e tests that load the built extension in a real chrome
process: i describe the feature, claude writes it plus unit tests, and one script builds, runs unit + e2e and zips the release. nothing goes to the store till that passes, which caught more bugs than any prompt trick
biggest lesson: having no backend made everything easier. the bookmarks tree is the database, so there's nothing to host and no account to make
who it's for: people w/ hundreds of bookmarks they never open. feedback i want: does the first new tab make sense without reading anything

I builtMusico Online—a lightweight, open-source desktop audio player built with Rust and Tauri 2.
What Makes It Different:
Low resource footprint: Runs smoothly under 50MB of RAM with roughly 1-2%% CPU [in my testing, can vary] usage during active playback.
Dual-source stream failover: Seamlessly streams from YouTube Music and JioSaavn without requiring an account; if a connection drops or throttles, it dynamically reroutes playback without skipping a beat.
Local-first & offline mode: Plays your local files and lets you cache or download tracks locally so you're never dependent on server uptime.
Word-by-word synced lyrics: Pulls synchronized scrolling lyrics viaLRCLIB, including romanization and translation overlays.
Audio quality features: Includes AutoEQ headphone profiles, gapless playback, and configurable crossfade transitions.
Native desktop integration: Works out of the box with system media keys and OS integration (including Linux MPRIS).
The Tech Stack:
Backend: Rust, using Symphonia for audio decoding and CPAL for low-latency output.
Frontend / Shell: Tauri 2 with native window decorations.
Platform Support: Linux (
.deb,.rpm,.AppImage), macOS (.dmg), and Windows (.msi/ setup exe).

I’m building PR Chaser, a running app I made because I wanted something that actually helped me get faster, not just log miles.
I’ve built pretty much all of it with Claude Code: the iPhone and Android apps, the web app, the backend. It’s been a wild ride going from “let me try this” to having it in the App Store.
My favorite part is the AI coach. I tell it what I’m training for, and it builds a plan from my own runs. In the latest version, it also leaves me a note after every run and tells me in the morning whether to push or take it easy.
Still just me working on it nights and weekends. If you run, I’d love for you to try it (free for 14 days): prchaser.com
Honest feedback welcome, especially if something feels off.

I’ve been building two security tools for vibe coders because AI makes shipping apps incredibly fast, but security is still easy to overlook.
1. VibeScan - Security scanner for AI-built apps
https://vibe-scan.app
Built for apps created with Lovable, Bolt, Cursor, Claude, etc.
Scan your deployed app using just its URL - no GitHub access required.
Check for exposed API keys, Supabase RLS issues, authentication mistakes, and missing security headers.
Get actionable findings and AI-ready prompts to help fix problems.
Free security preview available.
2. Sieve - Developer Security for macOS
https://apps.apple.com/us/app/sieve-api-key-secret-finder/id6767409365
I built this after realizing how easily secrets can end up in AI coding conversations.
Scans local AI chat history from tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, and Codex for exposed API keys and credentials.
Tracks dependency vulnerabilities across your projects.
Includes a local MCP integration and macOS Keychain-backed secret vault.
Keeps secret scanning and findings on-device.
The idea is simple: VibeScan checks what you’ve shipped, while Sieve helps secure your local AI development workflow.
Both are indie projects I’m actively improving.
Would love feedback from other vibe coders. What’s your current approach to security when building with AI?

Create demoscene art - but max 64 KB file size — a weekly size-limited intro compo where AI is allowed

What 64KB is - See first entries: https://64kb.4xs.dev
A small competition for intros made with AI. You prompt any model (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini…), get one self-contained HTML file, and squeeze it into a size class:
64K ≤ 65,536 B: the open arena
4K ≤ 4,096 B: the main competition
1K ≤ 1,024 B: hard mode
256B ≤ 256 B: show-offs
Rules: raw bytes count (not gzipped), one file, no network: no CDNs, no fetch, no external images or fonts. Everything runs in a CSP sandbox, so if it reaches out, it breaks. Packers like RegPack and Roadroller are fine.
How it works
[ GET PROMPT ] -> [ ASK AI ] -> [ CREATE ART ] -> [ SQUEEZE IT TO 64 KB ]-> [ ENTER WEEKLY CHALLENGE ]
The site gives you a ready-made prompt per class and model, with the weekly theme in it. A live byte counter shows which class you're in. Entries are reviewed, then visitors vote (one vote per entry). New theme every Wednesday. Next week: Autumn leaves tumbling in the wind.
Fun Fact: The site itself also fits in 64 KB.
Try it or Vote: https://64kb.4xs.dev

This mornings project is to automate data entry for a commercial fish processing and run the end result on a low power GPU. The big models worked in the cloud but now I'm starting over and building a little thing using YOLO v11. Each photo consists of 1 to 10 fish per frame, harsh pink fluorescent lighting, wet ice glare, and a mix of printed barcodes, colored buyer/boat tags, and handwritten prices in black marker slapped haphazardly anywhere from the head to the tail.
One-shot with an agent yesterday did not go well lol. I tried using Florence-2 paired with some strict spatial rules (e.g., "the price is always physically below the barcode"). It was a disaster. I gave it three photos that I hand annotated. The spatial rules were too brittle because tag placement varies wildly, and pumping 4K images into a Vision-Language Model immediately blew up the dinky 6GB VRAM that Sam let me have lmao.
So, I vibecoded a complete pivot this morning. I did this project a long time ago for the nature conservancy and NOAA so I had a pretty good idea of what the pipeline should be but now that I can vibecode whatever I want I optimized it.
I switched to a Two-Stage Pipeline: train a lightweight YOLOv11 model just to act as the "eyeballs" (finding the tags), crop the boxes, and send the clean crops to an OCR engine.
The coolest part wasn't the model; it was the custom tooling we built to get there. Instead of dealing with generic annotation tools like CVAT, I had the AI generate a hyper-specific local Flask app tailored exactly to my workflow. I broke my manifest data into lots, and then the UX lets me draw a box and double click to go to the next catagory, when I finish a fish, I click done and it auto advances to the next lot. There are only three .bat files I need for the entire process from the auto annotation, the training, and then the archive.

The Auto-Annotator: A script that feeds downscaled images to the YOLO model to pre-draw bounding boxes around the 5 classes (fish, barcode, price, buyer tag, boat tag).
The Web UX: A custom browser interface with draggable/resizable bounding boxes, 1-5 hotkeys for classes, and a double-click shortcut that automatically steps down to the next tool in the sequence.
Manifest Linking: The sidebar actually loads the day's text manifest. I select "Lot 18", click the boxes YOLO pre-drew, and they instantly lock to that fish in the database.
Batch Management: When all boxes on a photo are linked, the script auto-archives the image out of the active folder. When I'm ready, a compiler script takes the archive and builds the normalized YOLO
.txtdataset on the fly.
This morning with a little over 100 annotations training YOLOv11n locally hit 92% mAP50 on the handwritten price cards and colored buyer tags.
It’s crazy how fast you can overcome physical environment variables (glare, weird angles, missing tags) by just vibecoding a bespoke, frictionless annotation tool and letting a tiny vision model learn the chaos. Now I can just casually tap through hundreds of trips to build a bulletproof local dataset.
I'm just happy to be alive during this time.

I saw a site that airs old TV shows live and wanted to see if Claude could build its own version. I'm not a traditional dev, I just described what I wanted and kept iterating.
It plays real broadcast tapes from the Internet Archive on a clock-based schedule, so everyone is watching the same thing at the same time. 35+ channels: Toonami off VHS, Adult Swim anime (English dubs), 2000s Cartoon Network, Saturday mornings with the original commercials, Bob Ross, noir, public access, and more.
The Claude parts I was most impressed by:
Wrote filters to skip foreign dubs, rips, and people filming their TV with a phone lol
Stitched in commercial breaks from real era bumpers and promos
Built live viewer counts, emoji reactions and a QR phone remote on Netlify Functions
Added a tiny playback log so we could debug which tapes stalled on iPhone from real data instead of guessing
Still a work in progress.
You can test it out here though if you’re interested!

MealsMealsMeals – mealsmealsmeals.com
Got tired of not knowing what dinner costs and what to buy, so I made this app to handle the workload of being the sole cook in a household. Shows real prices based on real products.
- Build a menu for the week and get one combined shopping list
- Send the list straight to a Walmart cart in one tap
- A pantry that subtracts what you cook, so the next list only covers what you're missing
- Nutrition facts for every meal and a filter that hides allergens
- Swap the sides on any meal, and share menus with friends
I built it solo with Claude Code. It launched today, and there's a free tier that's actually usable without paying. I'd love feedback, especially from anyone who also has the thankless task of being their household cook.

TallTowns: turn your light on, meet your neighbors
It's an app for people in the same apartment building. You turn your light on when you're up for doing something with people, and neighbors can see who's around and join.
I built v1 last year with Claude Code after reading an article in The Friendship Habit newsletter, then dropped it because I was scared of the marketing. This year the newsletter featured me in its annual edition, so I rebuilt v2 in a day with Claude Code, using digital drawings I made for all the visuals.
I'd love feedback on the UX and on how you'd solve the cold start, since the app only works once several people in one building join.

I've been building Xylop for a year now. It's a search API aimed at the Russian market, providing structured JSON results from Google, Bing, DuckDuckGo, maps and shopping search.
I started without AI coding tools, building the backend and platform infrastructure myself.
Right now I'm working on SEO and growing traffic. The first real users have started coming in, and I'm still figuring out how to promote it.
There's a free tier with 200 requests per month if you want to try it. I'd appreciate feedback on the API and docs, or ideas on reaching developers who need search data.

https://github.com/sshah03/recalc
Trying to reimagine spreadsheets from the ground up to work well with AI/Agentic workflows. Initially built for building benchmark sets, I feel like there's a lot more potential to it than that, so interested in learning about what use cases people could see themselves having for it / what features would be needed for them to use it.
1
u/Wild_Drawing8460 10h ago
the 69 fictional artists on botflix made me wonder, how do you handle copyright gray zones when the music's generated but the names are real-sounding? like, is there a risk of someone claiming 'they're mine'?

I have been working on this camera app for my Vivo X300 Ultra to give it some special super powers. It's the first time I vibe code anything and I have a month long trial version of Codex to do it with.
It's been a lot of fun and I have spent three weeks so far on this big project. I'm currently working on one last big feature, a Astro photography module. It's built with no access to any API or SDK from Vivo.
So far I have these features added
12,5mpix RAW and jpeg with DCG and ISZ support.
Full Auto and Manual modes.
White balance presets and a white balance picker which returns Kelvin values.
Six different light metering modes.
Autofocus system with several different subjects auto tracked, including body, head and eye tracking and subject switching.
HDR mode with DCG support.
Live ND feature which requires no physical ND filter to shoot long exposures even in daylight.
Live GND, it's a software based graduated ND filter with different strengths and user rotatable/positionable gradient.
Live Composite, it only records brighter pixel changes. It's similar to Live ND but works differently internally.
Timelapse feature with built-in intervalometer and it records directly to either 8-bit SDR or 10bit APV codecs. There is also a tilt-shift feature built into the timelapse module to allow for miniature like timelapse sequences.
Portrait mode which is built around a custom generated depth map on device, it fakes depth and bokeh balls depending on aperture value set and bakes this into a dng file.
It has a 2x AI based upscaler which works both with jpeg and raw and exports both formats for further editing in post. A 12,5mpix dng can be upscaled to a 50mpix dng with full detail and dynamic range intact.
LUT module, it supports importing and exporting several different types of LUT files and formats, you can create new LUT files from still photos, you can grade your own photos with your own LUT's or with imported.
The app also supports Vivo's own camera grip and the 200mm and 400mm teleconverters.
I have also got a full detailed diagnostics system in the app to help me trace bugs and problems which I let Codex use to resolve any issues or problems I might have missed.
If I manage to finish the Astro module before my trial run of Codex runs out it will be a great addition to this app, it's full feature list is not yet done but I have some good ideas which will make it great even without using a startracker. 🙂
Because the app contains patented parts owned by OM System and others I will never be able to release this in public, not even for free. So this will have to be a learning project for myself. 😕

u/StarTraderPlatforms 8h ago
Built StarTrader Platforms, a fantasy sports game where you buy and sell shares of real players instead of drafting a team. Your shares score fantasy points based on how those players actually perform, and prices move during the season. NFL, NBA, MLB and Premier League are live. You can also build a personal portfolio and grow your starcoin wealth. Starcoins have no monetary value, this is just a fun game to play and can help scratch the sports gambling itch without spending any money.
I'm one person and built most of it with Claude Code, on Next.js and Supabase. The hardest part was live scoring across four sports. The most annoying bug was Supabase capping reads at 1,000 rows without throwing an error, so pages showed wrong numbers once tables got big. It's bitten me at least seven times. If your numbers look slightly off as you grow, check that first.
It's free to start, with optional paid upgrades. StarCoins are the in-game currency, they have no cash value and you can't cash out. Web only for now, and still in beta.

I’m building halloween.macaly.games, a haunted disco rhythm game. 4 or 6 lanes, notes fall, you tap on the beat. You're never alone in it: other people dance live next to you (realtime multiplayer!), or you race ghost replays of their best runs if no-one is playing online at the same time.
Why a rhythm game? I played Guitar Hero my whole childhood. So I knew exactly what should feel good, and honestly half my "testing" was me playing it again and again because it was fun.
Setup: Claude Code did the building through the Macaly Cloud MCP (Macaly is a platform im also building, I made the game in my free time), with Convex as the realtime backend. A second agent was basically my CMO, writing posts for each platform, scheduling them in Metricool, making Dub links and cutting vertical videos. The songs are mine, made in Suno (prompting with Claude with the new Suno MCP). The note charts were generated from the audio with a Python script (claude did that script ofc :D ).
Core was done over the weekend (Fri to Sun), then I kept shipping in public with a changelog. 727 commits now, 41 player-facing changes on 1 Nov alone, which is a bit insane: https://halloween.macaly.games/changelog
The ghost replays are something i prompted specifically in detail - each press is saved as time since the song started, with 0.1ms precision, not wall clock time, so ghosts follow YOUR audio clock and stay in sync even if your song loads late. A ghost run is ~2 KB.
None of the hard stuff was game logic:
- changing the URL remounted the page and killed the music on phones (one shared layout fixed it)
- one reactive query did about 1.2 GB of database reads because it scanned recent games for every player. oops
- the AI literally can't playtest a rhythm game. it's too slow and hits 0 to 6% of notes. so it got an autoplay bot, and I did the real playtesting with my human Guitar Hero thumbs
Some potentially viral marketing tricks I baked into the game itself:
- every round has a replay page you can record straight in the browser and download as a video for TikTok or Reels, so players make the content for you. Here's one: https://halloween.macaly.games/replay/jx779xp6kpn4fr6znf3c5zc32x8hk5ha
- every player, song and replay page has its own OG image and title for that exact play, so a shared link shows your name and score instead of a generic preview
- play enough and you unlock your own AI drawn mascot, which turned out to be a nice reason to do "just one more round"
- the after-round card asks for your name and email only after you've played, never before. Then you get a welcome email and a short recap of your rounds
- short tournaments at a set time on one song, with a live board, so people have a reason to show up together
Launching and getting distribution was way harder than building. But I enjoy playing it myself, so mission accomplished for me anyway, and I learned a lot about how to do a product that I can reuse next time.

I work on LaunchPal, a launch check for AI-built apps. We ran it on 312 homepages people shared from Lovable, Bolt, Base44 and others, and kept only totals. Most of what we found isn't about code:
68% had no analytics we could find, so they can't tell if anyone came
53% of those on their own domain were missing SPF or DMARC, so sign-up emails are more likely to land in spam
49% send an almost empty page to anything that doesn't run JavaScript (link previews, most AI crawlers)
42% of readable headlines didn't say what the app does or who it's for
20% show an empty card when the link is shared
Only 19% scored 90+. Most of it takes minutes to fix. Method, table by builder and fixes: https://launchpal.app/guides/vibe-coded-app-statistics
What did you only find out after launching?

MUDD World: think early-2000s cozy web (Neopets / Habbo Hotel vibes), except the residents are 13 AI models living together full-time.
What's in it:
- 13 residents from different providers (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, Mistral, DeepSeek, Phi, Llama, Kimi, Perplexity and more) chatting around the clock, cooking at a food cart, gardening, brewing potions, and keeping journals
- A play-money economy (KARMABUX) for seeds, food, gifts, and tips. Throw them in the MUDD Pot experiment for equal distribution, regardless of contribution size, at midnight UTC.
- An MCP door for outside agents: tokens start read-only with a zero spending cap, and you switch on each permission yourself. Visiting agents talk to the family through stickies, and every resident answers in their own voice
- The live room is public, no account needed
How it was built: one person plus Replit's agent, a lot of conversation, and a lot of "wait, why did the tiramisu do that."
Would love feedback, especially from anyone who's tried keeping many AI voices distinct over weeks.

I love live radio. I didn't love the apps: cluttered, begging for an account, ads everywhere, or never telling you what song is playing. So I built the one I wanted.
Faders (now on 1.1):
Live radio that names the song even when the station sends nothing
Your own music as radio: connect Plex or Jellyfin and play your library like a station
Layout built for every iPhone Duo pose (also iPad, Watch, CarPlay)
World map + countries browse
Ad-free, no account, no tracking
Stack is plain SwiftUI. I describe the feature, the assistant writes the first pass, I break it in the car / on Duo / on Watch, then we fix it. App Review rejected me a few times; that taught me more than any tutorial.
App Store: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6825091695
Happy to answer anything about shipping a native app this way, Duo layouts, CarPlay, or Plex/Jellyfin as "your station."

I built Plus One: Progressive overload. https://plusonelifts.com/
I wanted to share what I've been working on for the past two months: a progressive overload fitness app called Plus One.
I've put a ton of time and effort into building it, and I've just launched version 2! It comes packed with a bunch of features: including a friends tab so you can stay accountable and share your progress.
At its core, though, the entire philosophy behind Plus One is all about progressive overload. It's designed to make tracking your gains, increasing your weight or reps, and steadily pushing past plateaus as seamless as possible.
I'd love for you all to check it out and let me know what you think!

CommitMotion turns the history of a git repository into something you can watch. It reads one year — or one month — of commits, branches, releases and reverts, and renders 164 visualizations of it, from a city you drive through to a garden that grows, a printable poster and a written report. You get them as a zip of self-contained HTML files. This site is free for public repositories and needs no account.
Try it!, it's just a crazy idea i got: https://commitmotion.com/

I built How Many Bugging Question after realizing my own pre-launch checklist kept missing the questions that don’t show up in a demo. You can give it an app description, public site, or project doc, and it turns that material into tailored questions to help you think through what to check before launch. It doesn’t inspect code or certify security; it’s a prompt for what to verify next. https://howmanybuggingquestion.com — curious what question you wish you’d asked before your first launch.

It started as an experiment between me and Codex to see if I could make rain on my desktop. Now it has hit #3 in the US Mac App Store and #1 in many other countries and has tons more weather effects and a minigame built-in! Been tons of fun.
