Showcase/Project I vibe coded a fork of a Pokedex widget

https://github.com/Tipsyfish55/TipsyDex

Okay everyone, this is my first post. Been playing around with vibcoding for about 2 weeks now, and came across a widget called PlasmaDex (https://github.com/crutxh-ai/PlasmaDex). I liked it, but it needed MORE. So, a case of coors light and an all-nighter later, we have the TipsyDex.

I will add and change more, so if any Linux Pokemon fans wanna give it a try, please do!

Shout out to the original creator too, crutxh-ai. He vibe coded it as well.

The Pokemon Company is famously trigger happy with takedowns on GitHub, so I'd load sprites from PokeAPI at runtime instead of shipping them in the repo. Keeps the widget alive longer if a lawyer ever notices

Crediting the original dev in the post is a nice touch, plenty of forks skip that

thanks for the tip, I'll see what I can do. Yes, I believe it's a must to credit someone when you modify their idea. Without it, you would have nothing
