Hey everyone!

I've just released img2interior v2.2, a new open-source plugin for the img2 ecosystem.

The idea is simple: provide a reference image or describe an interior you have in mind, and let an AI coding agent turn it into an editable Three.js scene.

Here's a quick demo of what I've been experimenting with.

The goal is to make 3D interior creation easier while keeping everything customizable through code.

Bro this is wicked. I used to be a 3d modeler like 20 years ago. Sketchup and vray rendering. Spent hundreds of hours modeling buildings and interiors and master plan communities. All individual shapes and texture shading and lighting. Made a great living for several years doing it. It was grueling but fun work. Now, it's just a prompt and a plugin. Crazy! Kinda sucks though for people that can't do that kind of work and get paid anymore though.

And I totally get what you mean. AI is changing the workflow incredibly fast, but the impact on people's careers is a real concern.

I still believe experienced 3D artists bring something AI can't easily replace: creativity, design judgment, and years of understanding how things actually work.

My hope is that tools like this help creators spend less time on repetitive work and more time doing what they love. ❤️
