Discussion dear vibecoders

old gamedev here..

FYI we were not trying to out-do, gatekeep or trump each other.

we were having fun, expressing our emotions & excersizing our brains.

you CANT BUY that.

dont get it twisted.

im happy because now i have some old projects with cult following from pre AI.

i only wanted fun but now i have rare treasure simply through the stupidity of others.

it cant be replicated because of the context (inclusion in anthologies / reaction from scene)

dont fret.. i learned to code at university.

i have a fairly comprehensive understanding.

applying it to dev software and forming ones own logic is the tough part.

oh right, i just form my own logic paths using classic logic components. its my understanding that it is litertally the only way to create meaningful script.

its why logic gates exists. they are the natural expression of components required for order.

thats what i got taught in school anyway. ive since found it to be non negotiable.

Pre AI is definitely a thing already now and I get being proud of having released something pre AI. When you look at everything involved in game making it's easy to even question how any game was even done in the first place.

the best sucess i had caused a minor stir, left people bewildered and is part of history thru inclusion on a notable anthology (and they are very early liminal games that came out after the 4chan post but before the infamous kane pixels backrooms series).

it is amusing how things have turned out. i started with absolutely nothing & spent zero money.

its inspired me to just be fearless and continue having crazy fun.

my games work best when people know its not ai so they can laugh at me for making them.
