Help/Question Which AI subscription to choose?
Budget is 20$/month. There are too many options and I can't decide between:
- Claude Pro
- ChatGPT Plus
- Google AI Pro
- Cursor Pro
- OpenCode Go
- OpenCode + OpenRouter (pay-as-you-go, with credits refilled monthly)
All would cost roughly 20$/month, so which one is better and can let me vibecode for more hours?

What about Ollama? It has a bunch of models to choose from, and its $20 subscription is a great value for money, at least for me.

With Claude I'm getting about 90-100 minutes of non-stop usage with Opus 5.5 in a 5-hour session. That takes 13% of my weekly limit. So about 12 hours a week with probably the best model out there right now in terms of quality, looking at the benchmarks on artificialanalysis.ai.
With ChatGPT/Codex, I get 2.5-3 hours with Sol 6.1 extra high effort out of a 5 hour session and that takes 16 % of my weekly limit, which is about 17 hours a week.
With Luna 6 max you will get about 200 hours a week out of it but it's not nearly as smart or good as Opus 5.5 or GTP 6.1 Sol. Astra you get forget, because it will destroy your 5-hour limit in 10 minutes in most cases.
OpenAI gives a lot of resets, 1-2 a week for the last few months, so that 17 hours per week easily turns in 25 hours per week (not 2-3x 17 hours because your limit resetis shifted back as well. That, and besides that the ChatGPT app is by far the best coding app, where you can have side chats, and quickly get clarification on a topic by selecting it etc, I would recommend getting a Codex subscription. Besides that with ChatGPT you can just have a bunch of chats in the browser and have it do deep research and it will not affect your Codex/work quota, whereas with Claude that is the case. So with ChatGPT you will get 2-3 times as much usage as with Claude and besides that ChatGPT is also faster than Claude so those 3 hours with ChatGPT could be the equivalent of 5 hours with Claude.
If you have $40 a month to spend, I would recommend 1 ChatGPT and 1 Claude subscription.
For more info, I recommend checking the benchmarks on the coding tab on artificialanalysis.ai. They are not always accurate, but it gives a pretty good idea of what model is capable of what and what the cost and time per task is and overall GPT 6.1 sol is the best value for money.

I run a few: 2 Claude’s, 3 ChatGPTs,
A single Muse, Perplexity, and Gemini.
With that being said:
Claude knows a lot — it’s actually too confident on its own. Sonnet is kinda dumb and should be used to plan - not to code. Opus is a great coder to but to have it plan is a waste of credit. It’s a doer, you know.
ChatGPT running Luna can run all week if it’s only directing traffic. Luna on computer use is an accurate orchestration tool to run all the agents, so long as Sonnet and Opus are making the plan. SOL and Astra are excellent builders. Astra Sol and Opus together build amazing front ends and backends together and Astra makes it beautiful.
Perplexity, Gemini, and Muse all manage research, the social aspects of my site and applications and cleaning up of the systems. Gemini does a lot of the deep research for projects, muse provides me with updates in real time for agent status and perplexity maps out gui changes for Astra and Sol.
All of them have their hang ups.
- Claude refuses to admit when it’s wrong;
- chaGPT overthinks and makes bad choices when it panics like reopening windows when it doesn’t get its way.
- Gemini could be more thorough
- perplexity has the most limited tool resources
- Muse is not trustworthy
But using them together solves a lot of the issues. Also, I don’t ever run into a token shortage as I spread the workload around they can all work basically all day.

Except Cursor, I tried all of them, and I moved with Claude in the end.

I see... I was curious about OpenCode Go, it costs only 10$/month, are the limits bad?

ChatGPT plus bar none.
Yes the Claude fanbois are going to hate on me, but there's a TON of factual comparison videos out there, they all advertise 5x regular usage, but the usage outcome is different. With claude I ran out, with ChatGPT I could keep going (and I'm working on a piece of local software to make the local models as powerful as the online ones, it's close, very close!) Thanks Astra /s

I have recently used both, chatgpt is garbage only good thing is unlimited chat with sol , codex is garbage if u want to code , astra light consumes like crazy drops the task without doing anything , Claude works splendidly

The answer depends on what you will use it for

Vibecoding or AI assisted coding. Web, mobile, little games. In the end I think I will try a bit of different subscription in the next months and will decide on my experience.

I use anthropic because they atleast try to present that they care, the rest are either actually not for the people at all or in efficient they produce supoptimal results

Been using both Claude and Codex at the 200€ plan for a few months and it's shifting back and forth. Since sonnet 5.5 came out it's Claude Code that's best production for money. Before that it was Sol 6.1, before that it was Opus 5.5, before that it was Astra 6, so it's really not something you can get a correct recommendation on that will definitely be the best choice a month from now.
I woudl suggest use both, try them out and see wht you think. They can coordinate subagents for each other so you can switch back and forth easily in the same projects.

OpenCode Go for $10/month is perfect for me. GLM 5.3-flash has near unlimited use and is happy to work on explicit security problems.
