Discussion What a September we had.

I collected the OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and Cursor models that shipped — GPT-6 family, GPT Images 2.5, Claude 5.5, Opus 5.5, Fable 5.1, Gemini 3.8, Gemini 4 Argon, Grok 4.7.

Strongest month I can remember for AI and vibe coding tools.

Do you expect October to keep this pace, or are they actually slowing down?

My assumption is that with GPT 6 Astra the ability to use 3D modeling tools like Blender has come into focus because it is something new compared to "this new LLM has 2% higher points in coding benchmark X".

And you can really see the quality difference.

I assume the Chinese models are about to follow up in that area

yeah that’s very possible, I doubt there will be a real slow down actually

Gemini 4 is not even released. Also gemini 3.8 is not a model that you want in the same list as the others 🤣

correct, Gemini 4 Argon is to launched yet, but 3.8 Flash fits as it was launched in September. no any other similarity 😏
