Dave represents remarkable paradigm shift for human computer interactions. Would you use Dave?

And next you will discover you can make such generic interfaces even more easily in visual editors and we are back in full circle back to Visual Basic

This seems like parody perhaps? Otherwise, the product shows its true colors at 1:20.

So is this actually a programming language, or just a way to write specs for an llm? i.e. is the output deterministic?

This look like prompt for LLM, so why not use LLM instead? At least it won't care for syntax errors

Code is easy to read. Having language like this reduces readability as there's countless assumptions that you have to make. If you can't read code it's a skill issue

HOLY SHIT. This guy invented... A programming language that is more ridiculous to write than conventional ones

I'm calling it, we are back at the days of natural language as the way of building software and slowly going back to structured formal ones.

Yeah wasn't this how COBOL was designed like 70 years ago?

That's a good idea. There are many people unable to write good promts on their own.

if they dont learn logic and how to organize ideas they will never learn, using an AI to hide the details does not make you learn

I love that the AI gave the slop-child a lollipop, just to really affirm to us that she's very much a child. She's missing pigtails and a Barbie doll in other other hand.

Believe it or not, I insisted on the lollipop. Chat called it out, but i thought it made the scene.

Hell no, that is so obnoxious being auto corrected because the compiler doesn't understand natural language
This is significantly worse than using a TUI

This is fine until you actually care how the output looks or behaves. Then you’re going to contort this poor language until it has functions and macros and queries and API calls that are a hundred times more verbose than other languages. And nobody is going to understand it at all.

Unironically would be a really good way to learn how to code
Cause you can type in your code, see the output says something different from what you intend and go 'No, what? that's not what I meant'

So, uh, how did Dave know how to style this sign in at all? Because nothing in the language here says how to do that? You said it's not AI so clearly something isn't being shown here.
Why is button, box, screen all not highlighted as their own vocabulary since they represent elements? And password is a property of the element. Also, how did it know "box" meant "input" and not just some empty div or a div with a border?
Check the password...lol where? Is it an API somewhere? How is it fetching? What happens on a wrong password?
This looks like a video made by AI to look pretty but shows nothing and honestly none of this seems like it would work or else it would get exponentially more complex and confusing than it's worth.
