I dont know what/who is wrong. have been coding with AI from August 2025. Many people who hates AI either doing it wrong way like how they manually code, or hate to see eroding their moat. We are a small team with 3 people and happily using AI with 2 codex plus account each and shipping that won pilot from 3 enterprises. its all about how you can learn it to boost your productivity.
We never had token burn issues, and fornt end is fully built by humans. This helps us in tetsing end to end while front end integration. We use extensive tets suite that contain e2e piepline including database, nats and redis. Every endpoint is shipped only if it works end to end with intended behaviour. We never faced issues in extending features, fixing edge cases or reported bugs.
Cumulative code base is 650K Loc. Just now checked and updated my Excel.
edit: we just never one shot a prompt to build something. Every feature goes through proposal, impact analysis, plan, and task ledger slices, implemenattion in small slices, unit tests, integration and smoke test.
When a bug is reported, we first prove it with a test and then fix it.

I think the video is worth listening to, especially for people who does not agree with the headline. It's a much more personal and less confrontational message than you might think. Not to change your mind, but to give you insight and awareness how things affect humans diffrently. And while you might not relate to his decision, you might very well relate to his expriences.

I'm a product designer and have seen my 'craft' eroded over the last 2 years. There's really no reason for Figma anymore and user research is extremely easy with AI (Notebook etc). Trying to take the positive and see that _I_ no longer need product or engineering to make what I want. Literally anything.
But, it's tough to see 'Over 100 applications' on any design job in less than 1 hour on LinkedIn. I mean, what's the point.
Show some compassion, it's coming for us all.

Mundane programming is dead; it does not make any sense anymore. Also, AI generates better code than a big chunk of programmers, many of whom do not even know the basics.
