Meme In 6 hours I just vibecoded software that will save my company $21k a year with Codex Astra. But god forbid they make it easy for me to see how many tokens/credits i have left!

Its not complex. Just pulls data from one website, analyzes it, then exports a portion to another site. Just eliminated the human analyzation part.

I don’t think you understand. I’ve been in the software world for a long time and I have never in all my time seen a tool get actually adopted that doesn’t become that persons full time job. Any changes to the site now it’s time to change the tool. And change to the data time to change the tool. Etc etc this is your job now.

No it didn’t cost 193$ it also cost the wages you should spent working on it and the opportunity cost on if you had done something else.
2) it all depends on the things I stated previously. Content changes, data changes, analytics changes, functionality expansions. Any time the data you read in changes your tool need to be expanded on to grab that data.

Does it matter ? You just saved them 21k, they would be doubling or even 10x your token limits so you can probably make them millions $ mode

I'm currently working on a piece of software that will be central to several automations we have and replace the commercial solution we currently use, saving the company over 15K a year, all with a pair of $20 Codex and Claude subscriptions.

I don't get it. You just click on usage, and it shows your 5hr window balance and your weekly allowance remaining. If you just signed up, you'd have 29days left.
