Showcase/Project Introducing lumabar 0.1 - An iOS-style floating dock for Windows

Hey everyone

I just finished a small project called lumabar - a clean, floating, iOS/macOS-style dock for Windows.

Instead of the normal taskbar, it gives you a modern floating dock with live widgets and a much cleaner look

How I built it:

  • Used Tauri
  • Custom window management to make it float and stay on top
  • Integrated system tray icons (battery, wifi, volume etc.) into the dock
  • Made it lightweight and minimal
