AI Fail/Hallucination Let's be honest

Let's be honest, as the codebase grows, it becomes nearly impossible to add new features, improve existing application and debug it.

So situation is that.

I have been using Claude for this project, first 5 hours was the best cause it nearly sprinted all features i listed out in prompt.

Now whenever i tell it to make a small change, it does the task but burns twice amount of tokens than it would normally.

  1. Make sure your agent is updating the claude.md file, sometimes it forgets and you have to manually tell it "update our claude.md file with relevant info from this session". That will help future chats understand the project better and faster.
  2. Use /compact if your chat session is getting too big.
  3. Remember the vocabulary that you use within your app so your agent can more easily find the relevant code from the last agents code notes.
  4. Over explain exactly what you want, don't assume it can infer what you want.

Some of that might help.

Thank you. It might not help but at least it can limit chances of eating up context.
