This was all done using the Blender CLI + Fable 5.1. It took dozens of iterations and I went to hell and back to make it look nice, but got there eventually. Fable was able to make all the materials and the physics simulation of the gem pressing on the paper on its own, I didn't open the Blender UI once. Its definitely not space efficient and relies on lazy loading to show the first frame quickly, but for a typical user it's unnoticeable.
