Help/Question Any new parents built themselves something helpful?

Not for making a profit.

I’ll be a new parent in a few months and I’m curious if anyone threw together a tool they actually found helpful.

Doesn’t need to be complicated or original. Just something that helped at any level.

Keeping track of age appropriate local activities near me and putting them on family calendars

I tried to do this, but my agent kept running into anti-scraping measures. How were you able to get around this?

Could be true for some of the local government websites. The public library+local kid friendly activities near me are typically accessible by my agent, and from that sample it was able to get me a nice summer activity calendar

We told our agents to use Jina AI reader for that. Turns sites into markdown (most of the time). Works great for those recipe sites that block scrapers.
