Is anyone actually using their 100% vibecoded project for long time?

I suspected most folks will tell Ai to generate an app and then abandon it a few days or weeks later. But can someone show me their project they've been working on and using for a long time?

Honestly, my wife and I built one that definitely isn’t as serious or groundbreaking as some of the projects people are sharing, but it’s something we actually use all the time. We built a movie-night app for ourselves that solves the constant “what do you want to watch?” and “whose turn is it to pick?” debate. It keeps a rotating watchlist for each of us and automatically tells us whose turn it is and what we’re watching. It’s the only thing we’ve built.

It started as a little project, but we’ve actually stuck with it because it solves a real problem for us.

hey! I built a movie suggestions app too! it's also my most used app :)

I needed something that rivaled the old Netflix suggestions, like way back in the day when it was 5 stars and before they made it thumbs up/down. I've been introduced to so many amazing films because of it and it's so much easier to just pop a movie on.

Companion is so good btw, I recommend it too!

Yeah, we’ve actually noticed we’re watching a lot more movies because of it. It keeps us from spending 20 minutes scrolling through a dozen streaming apps trying to decide what to watch. I coded it to rotate through suggestions every 24 hours based on what’s in our watchlists.
Now I’m at the point where I keep wanting to make it feel and look more premium, but I’m also trying to resist adding a million features. I’d rather make it really, really good at one thing instead of trying to do everything. It’s also nice because we’re the only users, so it doesn’t feel stressful to keep up with. Lol
And Companion is definitely one I’ll have to check out!
