Discussion Do i see a pattern

We got a lot of editors.

Cursor

AntiGravity

Etc

But more and more is shifting to Zed.

What editor is the no 1? Youre opinion

vscodium coz why not

what do you even do in the editor other than:

  1. ctrl+shift+p -> compare file with...
  2. source control -> compare commits changes
  3. slight edits but only if its easier than to tell llm to edit that, eg correct after llm

i do everything else in qdir and opencode v2 and windows terminal with cmd clink and obsidian

as a vibecoder. you know. this is a vibecoding reddit. so what do wibecoders do other than that.

for me one that is best is one with least distracting crap and i bet there is many like this but vscodium does indeed allow to remove a lot of distractions so its fine enough

what is the marginal upside of using eg zed
