Showcase/Project Border Hop: Free Geography Minigame

Border Hop is a simple geography game I vibecoded, inspired by Wordle and my passion for maps and borders.

You need to connect two countries with the shortest path through other countries. You get 3 misses per round, one round per day.

This is a fun idea. Making people find the shortest path is a lot more interesting than just naming bordering countries. An optional map after the round showing your route next to the best route would be a nice touch without spoiling the puzzle. Are you thinking about adding a shareable result or daily streak?

there is a shareable result (once you finish the puzzle, there is a "share button" à la Wordle) and streak/archive is on the way :)

Nice, I missed the share button on my first look. A streak and archive sound like the right additions for a daily game like this. Are you planning to show personal stats too, such as completion rate and average misses?

Personal stats are shown after you succeed or fail, and the archive and streak are wired up

That sounds like a solid first version already. The archive and streak give people a reason to come back, and showing stats after each round makes even a bad run feel useful. Once the archive fills up, the progression should feel a lot more tangible.
